SMS invites to COVID vac clinic

The Waterside Primary Care Network which consists of the Waterfront & Solent Surgery, the Red and Green Practice, and Forestside Medical Centre, have started using a new SMS messaging service to invite patients to their COVID-19 vaccination appointment. We are inviting patients in line with the Government’s cohorts. When you receive your text message, please follow the link that will take you directly to the bookings page where you can make an appointment. Please don’t call your surgery as we are inundated with calls at the moment. If you can’t make the booking via the link don’t worry, we will call you in a few days to make it for you. This new system means we can redeploy more staff into giving more vaccine. Thank you for your help.
