Waterside Primary Care Network (PCN)

What is a Primary Care Network?

PCNs are groups of GP practices working more closely together, with other primary and community care staff and health and care organisations, providing integrated services to their local populations.

From April 2019, individual GP practices will be able to establish or join PCNs covering populations of between 30,000 to 50,000 patients.

Waterside Primary Care Network

The Waterside Primary Care Network consist of the following practices on the Waterside are working together:

Waterfront & Solent Surgery
Red & Green Practice - (the Waterside & Blackfield Health Centres)
Forestide Medical Practice - (the Dibden Purlieu & Marchwood Surgeries)

Looking to the future...

From 2019, each network should be able to employ one clinical pharmacist and one social prescriber. We are currently advertising for these posts.
