Patient Champions

Patient Champions are a group of wonderful volunteers from across the Red & Green, Waterfront & Solent and Forestside GP surgeries, who are supporting patients to access community activities aimed at improving patients’ health and wellbeing.

So far we have four successful groups running monthly which are, IT for health, book club, a walking group and a drop in coffee morning. We are always looking to grow and develop these groups and create more to support and engage patients in their community.

We also encourage all healthcare professionals to refer patients who may benefit from coming along to any of the groups that we are currently running to support them with their health and wellbeing and community engagement.
