Changes to prescription preparation time

We would like to inform patients that there will be a minor change to our prescription service.

Due to the increasing numbers of patients registered with the practice, the higher quantities of prescriptions that need to be processed on a daily basis, and the fact that general practice is taking over the monitoring of increasingly complicated drugs from our hospital colleagues, we are changing the preparation time for a prescription.

Effective immediately the preparation time for a prescription will change from 2 working days to 3 working days.

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions in good time. Remember that the best way to order your prescription will be directly with the practice using an online service such as the NHS app or Patient Access.
