Parking Restrictions from Feb 2020

As many of you will know, the practice has grown in size over recent years. In 2018 the premises was expanded to accommodate additional staff so that we can meet the demands of our ever increasing population. Once again, this year we will be taking on additional clinical and admin staff to meet the continued demands.
One of the consequences of increasing the number of staff is that we have a need to accommodate their vehicles in the car park. In recent months it has been increasingly difficult for the emergency doctor to be able to get their car out of the car park because of double or even triple parking. This also limits ambulance access to the practice and blocks the access rights of our neighbours.

It is for this reason that we have had to take the difficult but necessary step to restrict the surgery car park to staff and disabled badge holders only
We would like to remind patients of the large Jones Lane public car park behind the practice with a path that cuts through to our practice which provides an easy alternative close by.

We hope that you will be able to support our decision and inform friends and family who are also users of our practice of these changes.
