Dr Simon Sherwin BM, MRCGP, DRCOG
Qualified 1993, Southampton University

Dr Sherwin joined the practice in 2001. Having spent time working in hospitals in general medicine, palliative care medicine and psychiatry, he switched his attention to general practice. His areas of special interest are ischaemic heart disease and information technology in general practice. Dr Sherwin is the Information Governance Lead and Cauldicott Guardian for the practice. 
He also provides IT Consultancy to a Medical Informatics Company, helping to make GP clinical systems easier to use by doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals. 

Dr Nicola Sheppard MBBS, DRCOG
Qualified 1995, Kings College, London

Dr Sheppard joined the practice in 2009. She initially worked as salaried GP in South East London before joining the practice. Her interests include Diabetes and she is the Child Safeguarding Lead for the practice. Dr Sheppard also undertakes the teaching of students. She also liaises with the local Health Visitors.

Dr Andrew Hoyle MBBS, BSc, MRCGP
Qualified 2005, St Bartholomews Hospital, London. 

Dr Hoyle joined the practice in 2014. He previously worked in Oxfordshire and Bournemouth. During that time Andy also spent a year working in Nepal and India. His interests include Minor Ops and teaching medical students, and he is the Adult Safeguarding and Care Quality Commission Lead for the practice.

Dr Lara Walter BM, BSc, DFSRH, MRCGP

Dr Walter joined the practice in 2016. She has previously worked in Dorset, Southampton and the New Forest. She also worked for a year in Perth, Australia. Her interests are contraception and sexual health and she is the Medicines Management Lead for the practice.

Dr Johanna Parker BSc, MBchB, MRCGP
Qualified 2008, Warwick University

Dr Parker joined the practice in 2018. She completed her GP training in Cheltenham and has also worked in practices in Bristol and the New Forest. In 2012-2013 she worked in the Women’s hospital in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her interests include Women’s health and medical education.

Dr Vicky Blythe BMBS, DRCOG
Qualified 2012, Nottingham University

Dr Blythe joined the practice in November 2018 and will be here until August 2019 as part of her GP training. She has worked in hospitals in Derby, Southampton and Salisbury. She is currently training to become a GP and has previously worked in paediatrics, gynaecology and public health.
