Patient Surveys - the results

Two types of survey have been carried out:

1. NHS England carries out a regular Ipsos MORI survey - The GP Patient Survey
2. Our own Patient Participation Group carry out a survey

Below are the results:

The GP Patient Survey is run by survey specialist Ipsos MORI. It assesses patients’ experiences of the access to and quality of care they receive from their local GPs, dentists and out-of-hours doctor services.

The results of the survey are published on their website (click here to view) and support a number of indicators in the NHS Outcomes Framework. They are used to assess how well the NHS is performing, leading to quality improvements throughout the primary medical health care service in England.

Waterfront and Solent Patient Participation Group Survey

Between September and November of 2013 the Waterfront and Solent PPG carried out a combined on-line and paper survey as patients attended the surgery.

The PPG set the questions and the results can be seen below. The results will be discussed as part of the PPG annual report and published before 31st March 2014 on our PPG page.
